Building an enzyme-education content engine that earns search visibility
Challenge
Infinita Biotech ranks for a strong product catalogue, but in a category dominated by global encyclopaedia and supplement-retail sites, the gap between branded discovery and top-of-funnel research traffic was wide. Industrial buyers, food technologists, and students researching enzyme types and applications were finding answers everywhere except the people who actually manufacture them.
Solution
Kerkar Media built out an enzyme-education content cluster on the blog covering enzyme types (lipase, lysozyme, lactase, bromelain, papain, cellulase, pectinase, isomerase), enzyme properties, classification, structure, immobilization, and industrial applications. Each piece was paired with on-page optimisation, internal linking back to the matching product page, and schema markup so the content layer pulls search traffic into the product layer.
Results
- Over 50 new non-brand keywords now rank in the top 30 of Google India, with 33 on page one.
- Position #1 wins on high-intent terms include lipase, nutraceutical, lactase enzyme, enzyme immobilization, malt meaning, and biodiesel production.
- The content layer now pulls research traffic from buyers and students who historically clicked on encyclopaedia results — straight into the people who actually manufacture the enzymes.
Moving up the page across the full enzyme keyword set
Challenge
Across the wider keyword set Infinita Biotech was visible but stuck below the fold. The average position over the previous 6 months sat at 10.09. Strong informational pages such as the bromelain, papain, soil stabilization, and hand sanitizer guides ranked on page 2 or page 3, well below the line where searchers actually click.
Solution
Kerkar Media prioritised the existing library by intent-to-effort, then rewrote titles and meta descriptions, restructured H2/H3 hierarchies, deepened thin sections, added FAQ blocks, and reinforced internal links from product hubs into the supporting blog posts. Older posts were refreshed with current data, and crawl waste was cut by tightening internal anchors.
Results
- Average search position improved from 10.09 to 7.92, moving the site solidly onto page one of Google India.
- 30 keywords that previously sat on page two or three are now in the top 10.
